2.

Gathering and Analyzing Your Financial Details

Following our introductory meeting, we’ll request comprehensive financial details to create a tailored and optimized financial plan. The more information you provide, the more precise and effective our recommendations will be.

Documents We May Request:

  • Account statements (e.g., 401(k)s, IRAs, brokerage accounts, 529 plans, annuities).
  • Federal and state tax returns.
  • Recent W-2, if applicable.
  • Details on outstanding loans (e.g., mortgage, student loans, lines of credit).
  • Current insurance policies (e.g., life, property & casualty, disability, long-term care).
  • Estate planning documents (e.g., wills, trust documents, financial and healthcare powers of attorney).
  • Once we’ve reviewed your financial documents, a brief follow-up meeting may be scheduled to address any outstanding questions.

3.

Delivery of Your Wealth Management Plan

We’ll schedule a meeting to present your personalized wealth management plan and investment proposal. For most clients, meetings are conducted via videoconference. For those in the greater Philadelphia area, in-person meetings can be arranged.

4.

Onboarding

To begin our advisory services, you’ll sign an investment contract outlining the scope of our engagement.

Next Steps:

  • Complete necessary paperwork to open accounts, transfer investments, and establish account features.
  • Most of our clients’ managed investment accounts are generally custodied at Charles Schwab & Co., ensuring security and reliability.
  • Whenever possible, paperwork is handled electronically through DocuSign for convenience.
  • Implement recommended portfolio rebalancing with tax sensitivity during the process

5.

Ongoing Partnership

We maintain a proactive and collaborative approach to managing your wealth.

Regular Meetings:

  • We’ll generally meet two to three times per year to review your portfolio, discuss updates in your personal or professional life, and address evolving wealth management needs such as cash flow planning, financial planning, and tax strategies.
  • Additional meetings can be scheduled anytime as new planning needs arise.
  • In between meetings, we will frequently communicate via email and by telephone.

Collaborative Approach:
We’re happy to coordinate with other wealth management professionals you may work with, including your accountant, estate planning attorney, and insurance advisors, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive financial strategy.
